This is where Spring Brook flows into the reservoir along Rt. 502. I like the ripples made by the snow falling off the branches. I drive by this spot everyday on my way to work. It always looks great after a wet snowfall.

This train was moving at about 40 mph, about to cross Rt. 507 in Gouldsboro, when this photo was taken. There were 4 other photographers there shooting the same thing. The icicles look like roots of the evergreen. Cool.

So I was looking for a new camera. Dave at Stroudsburg Photo suggested I try the Nikon D70. I set the camera on automatic, walked outside, aimed, and shot. This is what I took. Needless to say I was sold right there. A December morning near the Bodie Island Lighthouse in North Carolina.

I went to Lackawaxen to photograph eagles and all I found were gulls. Yes that is ice hanging from the twigs in teh foreground. This is the only sunbather you will find on the Delaware River on a cold winter morning. It was 18 degrees when this picture was taken.
