I've been building websites since 1995. I've always wanted to make a site for myself, but I never found the right topic, until now.

Verticalwallpaper.com combines several different interests of mine, all in one place: web design, nature, digital photography, and helping people in some small way. Oh, and of course vertically-oriented monitors.

Most of the photos on this site were taken near my home near Scranton, Pennsylvania, right on the edge of the Pocono Mountains. This area has some amazing scenery, if you know where to look. In summer, it's hard to find a place better than Northeastern PA. In the winter it's hard to find a place worse. I decided to organize the images by season because the seasons are so extreme here.
